This is the initial devising phase of our next show Toast. The name seems appropriate, yes?--as this is the point when we're warming up and cracking open ideas, images, and relationships that will serve as the foundation for the full production.
Dive into the dramaturgical research and the creative development along side d&pdc and a corps of co-conspirators from DC's scientific, humanities, and media communities at one of these two event-types:
- Seminars: Book-club-like causal gatherings investigating a source of nspiration through large and small group conversation and a whole-group creative exercise.
- Salons: Combination of a TED-talk inspired (though live) discussion-demo by one of the co-conspirators, a performance of work-in-progress by the ensemble, a dialogue interrogating the two, and a whole-group devisingexercise.
INCUBATOR SEMINARS AND SALONS CONCLUDES OCT 12 AT ROUND HOUSE THEATRE SILVER SPRING.
